In August, I started trying wood burning. Earlier in the summer, Radio Shack was going out of business. I headed down there to see if anything was left on the shelves. I grabbed a couple cables, and as I was checking out, the manager pointed out a new soldering iron was left. I snagged it for just a couple bucks as a cheap backup. After a few weeks, I was looking at the packaging and noticed it had “hobby tips.” After further inspection, it appears to have come with wood burning tips as well. So I ordered some carbon paper to trace images, grabbed some scrap cedar from Deva’s dad and gave it a go. It was fairly successful from the first attempt, so I kept on.
